This movie was dumb, but I had a lot of fun with it. Some tracking shots were really impressive. You could clearly see that Carl Rinsch knew what he wanted from his director of photography. I also really liked Rinko Kikuchi and Kô Shibasaki's performances. The special effects were great. The main problem the movie has is its length. It's way too long. 47 Ronin is entertaining, but a little forgettable.
