American Hustle

American Hustle is another perfect movie by director David O. Russell. Only a year after Silver Linings Playbook, my favourite movie in 2012, he comes back with an entertaining crime comedy about ABSCAM. The performances were all great, but the highlight of the movie is Jennifer Lawrence's performance. She steals every scene she's in and she actually makes you care about her character. She makes Rosalyn's stupidity fascinating. I could not imagine another actress who could've done what she's done, which is not to make this character annoying. The script is also mesmerizing. Every line is so beautiful and meaningful. You never feel that something is unnecessary, not even a line. American Hustle is just a movie made for anybody who truly likes movies.
