The acting was superb - I could find no fault with it. The costumes/sets authentic. I found the pacing to be painfully slow - I wasn't expecting action - however an audience friendly pace would have helped. I also felt a bit mislead as I thought it was going to be a biopic of Lincoln's entire life - which it was not. A 15 minute montage of his youth and how he came to power would have been good, along with a highlight or two from his first term in office. It wasn't a balanced biography, nor was his death shown and there's more than one theory to it. Also it would have been good touch on how the Civil War began as slavery was one only factor. Rather unsatisfying. A highlight is Tommy Lee Jones and James Spader - both gave entertaining performances. And course Daniel Day Lewis was sublime.
