It's one of Polanski's better movies. It has a good suspense build up right till the end and you can empathize with Rosemary's character as her life spirals beyond her control. However, I found Rosemary's character to be weak (so many times I wanted her to stand up to the people trying to control her), but I suppose that was reflective of the time period and of her upbringing. I'm glad they didn't show the baby - it leaves more to the imagination and it's generally what we don't see that scares us. Also I can see where the movie the Astronaut's Wife got most of it's plot! Between the two, Rosemary's baby is far superior.
