Snow White and the Huntsman

Click here to show this review. I have mixed feelings about this movie. I loved it - the visuals, the plot. This is a Grimm tale well executed. However, I feel that they could have mentioned Miyazaki in the credits, from whom an entire scene was stolen (the enchanted forest, the forest spirit, the creatures of the forest) from his creation Princess Mononoke. And on the official website, they say she was training with the Huntsman in the art of war... really? Why didn't they include that in the movie? She spent a decade locked up in a tower, without social interaction, without education... and she just knows all this stuff? We need more intelligent producers, to pay more attention to some plot details... it's an awesome piece of work, which, even for a fantasy world, unfortunately has these "credibility distractions". And we all just hate "theft", don't we!
