If you like shaky, whizzing camera work, nonsensical dialogue and speeding cars, this movie is not for you. This is a wonderful, thought provoking and tender picture. In our world today where the word 'love' is so cheaply spoken and used, this movie makes you realize how superficial and materialistic our society has become. The acting is superb - the cozy sets belie the underlying terror that pervades the neighborhood. I kept thinking while watching, why do humans allow the evil people to dominate the good? Do evil people outnumber the good ones? And why are we so sheep like that we follow mindlessly crazy leaders inflicting untold misery on ourselves? And whatever these people in the movie suffered, there are millions of untold stories just like it. I really admire the producers who don't buy into the stupid factor and even though they probably won't break box office sales or win academy awards, they have the guts to put out a great movie like this. Loved it.
