The Tourist

This was a terrible movie, an embarrassment for Johnny Depp, who has been very selective about his roles in the past. The only redeeming quality to this movie is the Venetian scenery. Angelina Jolie was over the top with her sly and totally unengaging looks and she walked like she was on a runway. The worst part was the writing. The dialogue was mindnumbingly stupid; the entire movie was so dumbed down they seemed to think they needed to explain what was happening when there was nothing interesting, suspenseful, intriguing, or entertaining. Trite, formulaic, not convincing at all on any level... not the slightest bit clever. Don't waist your money even renting this bomb.
