As human beings, why do we have the tendency to run after the wind in order to catch the wind? Why are we often trying to fill our lives with lots of multi-tasking responsibilities which give us the illusion of being efficient, proactive and important? Why can't we just stop for a while and reflect on ourselves? What is the purpose of life? Why are we down here on planet Earth? These are some of the thought-provoking questions that have come to my mind after watching THE TREE OF LIFE. For those of you who subjectively think that this movie is not good, I would like to ask the following question: when will you finally wake up to discover that you have been clinging too much to temporal, perishable and futile material possessions instead of opening yourselves to everlasting, renewable and priceless human values? THE TREE OF LIFE is unquestionably a masterpiece psalm of humanity...
