Granted that the sets and special effects were amazing - there were so many flaws it could fill a talley sheet. Coupled with preposterous acting, Kate Winslet couldn't even save the film it was so badly scripted. You listen to "Jack!" "Rose!" "Jack!" "Rose!" about 250 times throughout the film. All the deleted scenes were the best part because it told the stories of those who were actually on the Titanic. This is a prime example of Hollywood drivel.

I do not agree with your rating at all! Kate Winslet's performance was lovely, and the storyline was very good! The movie wasn't meant to focus on other people: it is a ROMANTIC film focusing on a couple who found love on " The ship of dreams", and it also had some showings of how the Titanic went down. This is my favourite movie of all time and I think it was wonderfully done.
