CinemaClock Bathurst

Unlike the other 2 women over 50 who reviewed this film, I loved it! Take the view going in - that this is a gritty movie about old school farm team hockey, based on a real 'Goon' and not a calm serene story about golfers or chess players!! With a ton of Canadian flavor, this is a true down to earth hockey classic with plenty of laughs, warm fuzzy bits, and yes even lots of violence and bad words, with the 'hero' being a genuine nice guy who just wants to find his place in the world. Didn't expect to like it much really - only went because my son was involved in the filming of the movie. Glad to say I was very pleasantly surprised!!
