I had the fortune or misfortune to see George Clooney's "Leatherheads" in a double bill with "Mis Pettigrew..." And it made me appreciate even more how good a film "Ms Pettigrew..." Fantastic acting job by Amy Adams and Frances McDormand - the final ending was a little rushed and cliched and I didn't see how the Frances McDormand and Ciaran Hinds characters could have hooked up based solely by what we saw on screen. But I was charmed and walked out of the cinema with a huge smile on my face.
