This is an amazing film and story, real and gritty. Javier Bardem was sublime in his portrayal of this basically good, caring man brought down by poverty, desperation and circumstance. You might leave the theater a bit shell-shocked but at the same time in awe, knowing you have just witnessed something stunning and important. "And the winner is..."
