I didn't have high expectations for this movie going in, due to the fact that Kristen Stewart was in it (not my favourite actress), but I had always been intrigued by the idea of a twisted fairy-tale. I was actually enjoying the movie, (surprisingly) for almost half the film, maybe even more--uuuntil she 'died'. Then, it felt as though everything was rushed. She manages to get an entire army to follow her and all she has to say is," Who's with me? ", and she successfully finds the queen, gets into the castle without any trouble while her two lovers are surviving against something that kills everyone but them (of course) BAM! The story resolves, she's queen, the land heals- all of this happens in practically a minute. And do we find out who she marries or what happens to Eric and William? Lots of unresolved questions, and rushed scenes. Go see it (if you must) until she dies, and then leave.

Not too bad for Snow White. She was a princess, now she's a bad ass warrior!

While an interesting adaptation of the fairy tale, it gets lost and confused and can't seem to settle on a tone. Unfortunately it never finds its way or gains momentum and the result is somewhat disjointed. It's an enjoyable and entertaining film on a very basic level but don't look for much more beyond that.

Fairly decent movie with a new twist on the familiar Snow White story. Good visual effects and nice scenic locations in view here. Not a big fan of Stewart but I thought she did a fine job playing Snow White. Hemsworth was good as well and had good chemistry with Stewart. A bit cheesy at times but it is only a fairy tale after all.

Nothing the write home about. The story seems to go on and on at times and never really draws the viewer into it. I didn't feel anything for the characters, and for some reason, I was expecting the huntsmen to be some kind of superhero, but he was really just an average joe who was ok with an axe. I also thought the queen's brother, with that foolish haircut, didn't impose on me the ideal of evilness. And to say Kristen's cheezy acting was laughable would be to echo other's comments here, so I won't. No wait, I just did. It totally was.

This movie was not very good - absolutely no chemistry between the huntsman and Kristen Stewart (who as usual gave a horrendous performance... the girl can't act. Don't know why she keeps getting casted in things) It's unfortunate because the rest of the cast are all very good actors (especially the dwarfs, but they had very little dialogue) It just seemed to jump from her getting rescued to all of a sudden they are supposed to be in love. Very strange. The setting was good and with all that other star power it could have been something more. Don't waste your money. I hear there may be a sequel and thankfully it will be without KS (and hopefully better writers)

Wow, that was a total waste of time!! The acting was horrible. The script was horrible. The changes to the original story were silly. What a waste of a movie.

Loved the scenes as it was very enchanting. Charlize and the huntsman did a terrific job but sad to say Kristen as sweet as she is was just not Snow White material. She was weak and I think the gal from sucker punch (Emily Browning)would be a good choice as Snow White, should they have a sequel...

I am so happy that I went and saw this movie instead of listening to the reviews. I am not normally a Kristen Stewart fan but this was some of her best acting. It was worth seeing for sure.

Characters and story were not developed at all. So boring that my husband fell asleep and I was trying hard not to. Acting by Kristen was HORRENDOUS to say the least. Good things she had only a few lines which she managed to yell at the top of her lungs.

Unfortunately despite Therons committed performance this movie fell flat. Some characters were poorly developed, pacing was poor with too much time on travelling picturesque scenes, Stewart's acting was not strong enough to rally a kindergarden class let alone lead a kingdom into war. Overall the movie was too long. Only redeeming feature were of course the visual effects but that alone does not a good movie make.

Ok, Kristen Stewart can't act and it's more apparent when you put her beside Charlize Theron (who was amazing in this) But the movie itself was very good. Dark, kind of had a Lord of the Rings feel. I was actually caught off guard by how well this movie was done.

A real surprise... I expected Charlize Theron to be good but she surpassed even the best evil queen to date... and Kristen is amazing along with a great twist on a classic, all that was missing was the icing being a hot romance...

I actually put off seeing this movie because I saw Mirror Mirror which in my opinion was pretty lame. Also the ratings for this one seem very conflicted. However, I was amazed at how awesome it was. It has a feel about it like Lord Of The Rings. Very very well done. I really enjoyed every minute. [...] It's a great movie.

Again, Kristen Stewart proves to be the worst actress known to humankind. Thankfully the directors/producers were quasi smart enough to give her barely any lines. She did however still manage to ruin a potentially interesting movie. You suck Kristen Stewart. Go mope around your apartment and never come out.

I was looking forward to seeing this movie so much, but I was very disappointed. I found that there was not a lot of dialogue in this movie. A lot of scenes didn't make sense... Also, Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth lacked some chemistry and emotion.

So many holes and meaningless plot in the movie. Beside the visual effects, what else you see? Most of the scene is Kristen Stewart or Chris Hemsworth running for their life, and since you have huntsman, why there is a prince in the story? What is the purpose of the brother of queen? Many many materials didn't put well together and the acting is poor, what a lousy movie!

First off, I just want to say that this was a good movie. I felt that it lacked passion and purpose though. Motivation too. Kristen's acting has, I'll admit, improved since her Twilight movies. She showed some emotions throughout the movie. Not enough to make me feel like she belonged, but enough that you could sense something. I understand that the Queen killed important people in her life, but Snow White didn't really seem to have motivation for trying to kill her. She never stated why she wanted to kill the Queen, just that she did. Sometimes movies need those cheesy, "she killed my family" moments. Everybody else just automatically followed Snow White once she decided to kill the Queen. Nobody else stated why they hated the Queen, except for the Huntsman. Snow White just correctly assumed that they would all follow her and give their lives for her. Here are a few plot gaps that bugged me: *If she was stuck in a tower since she was a child, then how the heck was she able to take down multiple trained palace guards throughout the movie? They certainly never mentioned anything about training her to fight (only 1 lesson, in defense) *If she was stuck in a tower for that long, wouldn't she sun burn quickly after she left? Especially if her skin was white as snow? Sure she had a window, but she'd only get sunlight in there for like, 1 hour every day... *If you were locking a girl in a tower, why would you give her pants underneath her dress, and a sturdy pair of boots? She didn't need them! *She was terrified by snakes, but was able to scream in a troll's face? How does that work? *There were eight dwarves, not seven. *Does the forest scene remind anybody else of the Princess Mononoke forest scene? Where the main character walks up to the forest God, and someone murders it? Anyway, that's all I have to say. If people had more motivation, this movie could have been way better. Oh, and her speech sucked. Terribly.

Loved it. Fantastic movie. Kristen Stewart at her best. I would definitely recommend this movie to everybody. I rated this an 8 because it was not a perfect movie, but it was terrific and I loved every minute of it.

Horrible acting makes this Twilight version of Snow White a chore to watch. The plot spends the first hour spelling out the sexual tension between Snow White and the Huntsman, something a superior film would be capable of expressing in a 2 minute exchange between the romantic leads. Then there is the final hour of nonsensical battles and strange magical powers that have no rhyme nor reason in relation to the rest of the film. Obviously this mess was just thrown together by studio executives to please "tween fansgirls" much like the Marvel movies are for fanboys... and it worked!

The Snow White story is very close to the Julia Roberts Movie "Mirror Mirror" and I'am amazed they both released in same year. Anyway it's overall good movie and fun to watch.

Quadrafecta of bad. Bad acting, bad writing, bad cinematography, bad CGI. This is an example of why box office numbers are down. The only great thing about this movie is the way the PR team has been able to hide how bad it actually was.
