I don't know why, in the papers, they give it a 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 stars. I have enjoyed that movie very much. Granted it is not a big movie but it is a sweet little movie. A feel good movie. The actors are all good actors we know. And I can say that the other spectators enjoyed it too from what I heard.

I don't understand how a Lawrence Kasdan film with a stellar cast - Keaton, Kline, Weist, Dawkins, Moss and Sheppard, as well as an adorable rescued dog - could bomb this spectacularly. Only two positive things to say: 1. It was nice to see the Colorado Rockies and surrounding wilderness (and ogle the expensive real estate) 2. Diane Keaton looks fabulous. Neither could save this dog of a film!!!

It was a nice opening and heart-warming ending, but I found it on the boring side in between.

Most ridiculous piece of nonsense I have seen in a long time. Shame on them. It's embarassing.

I enjoyed this dog lover dramedy because of its many quick, witty one-liners in the movie. Some might find the cast of characters annoying with their quirkiness but I thought they were endearing and hilarious especially both Kevin Kline and Richard Jenkins.
