A complete gem of a movie, prolific and epic in every way. In a small town based in the 70's an accident takes place that gathers a group of kids who have just finished school for the year. The film begins with the passing of mother and her sons interrupted summer as he learns how divided his father really is. Combination of a magical young cast and superb direction, Super 8 is an outstanding tale that pulls from popular stories such as IT, Stand By Me and ET. Though this event is the best of both worlds, full of drama and jump out of your seat suspense.
