Very funny. Good for those who can enjoy "dumb" comedies. Do not expect more than that.

Yeah it was good. And it's the same makers as Family Guy, so if you like Family Guy, then I recommend it.

Yes, there were a few funny parts, a few chuckles here and there, but many of the jokes crossed the line and as a result turned flat. The jokes appear to target a less mature audience. I have the same age as Mark, and I liked his previous movies, that's why I went, but Mark, you shouldn't cross the line repeatedly like that. I feel like avoiding your movies in the future, not good for your business. I appreciate that you've put the ALS on the map, because not many people are aware of it. Even though it was creepy for me, because my father was diagnosed with ALS in 2010 and he recently died. That's why it was not particularly funny, and for some it could be highly disrespectful... unless Mark you lived through the hell of that disease with someone close, in which case I return the respect.

This is one of the funniest movie I have seen. Mark Wahlberg was absolutely fantastic. I have never seen a performance quite like this one. It was absolutely stunning.

Funny but just not all that funny. Some good jokes but no great jokes. I much prefer the Mila in Black Swan than this movie; wholesome is not my thing. Too raunchy for kids and not enough raunch for the adults. Of course I am very lukewarm for Family Guy so maybe McFarlane's comedy just doesn't do it for me.

Very funny, I laughed all the way through. The jokes and references to pop culture are what you should go see the movie for, as opposed to the plot which is pretty basic and predictable.

Funny movie and worth watching, much better than Expendables 2 I saw yesterday.

I had high expectations for this movie and I walked out disappointed! I love family guy, so I figured I would love Ted, however I found the plot of the movie lame!

I thought this was a really funny movie. I laughed a lot. Even if you don't like Family Guy, you might still enjoy this movie because it's a bit more high brow than the kind of comedy you find in Family Guy. If you do like Family Guy - you'll likely love this movie. Heads up - this movie is kind of vulgar.

Very enjoyable show. The wife and I laughed through the whole thing. Worth seeing.

Ted is pretty much Seth MacFarlane without restrictions. As a fan of American Dad! I got plenty of laughs, especially during the Patrick Stewart narrations.

I absolutely loved the movie. I went to see it with my daughter and thought it would be cute but something I wouldn't go see without her. As it turned out, I'm looking to see where it's playing now so I can take my 2 other daughters (18yr old) I laughed through the whole thing. Definitely recommend seeing it.

This movie was great! It was recommended to me by a friend, so I went to see it, expecting just another comedy. It wasn't the typical roll-your-eyes humour, though. Yes, it was crude, and absolutely, don't bring your kids to see it, but it's an awesome watch for teens and young adults. To summarize--we've all wished for our stuffed animals to come alive, but who ever gave much thought to how its personality would come out? Creative, engaging, hilarious.

Was just ok. A few good laughs but I don't recall splitting a gut at any point. I can enjoy dumb, but dumb still requires something special to really work for me, and this wasn't special enough.

If you've seen Family Guy, American Dad and Cleveland Show then you've seen this movie. Almost all their jokes and humour can be seen on those 3 shows alone. Didn't expect much out of it just a good time which is what I got. Need a few laughs? Then watch Family... er, I mean watch TED.

If you watched enough Family Guy then you have also seen Ted. Same jokes, but I expected that, enjoyed some parts but not as much as I wanted to.

Laughed the whole way through. Never thought it would be this funny from the initial trailer but my everyone in a packed theatre was laughing so hard that my wife and I couldn't hear a lot of the movie. We'll see it again and probably buy the dvd!

Hilarious... almost urinated my pants.. Mark Walbergh did an excellent job of playing a responsible adult stoner!

Overall funny but for a mature audience in view of the vulgar language and sexual content. Original premise and the acting was decent.

It was an okay movie. It was very predictable. There was a few good laughs, but I was expecting a funnier movie.

It was a completely lighthearted, completely predictable romp... which made me smile throughout and laugh out loud a few times. Anyone who saw the trailers and was shocked by a potty mouthed teddy bear deserves to feel ripped off. What did they expect? Every trailer had the bear hanging with hookers... sheesh. Well, I had a good time and it seemed the rest of the theatre did as well. If you have a sense of humour and are feeling a bit blah, this movie will make you feel better... and that's good enough for me.

It's funny [as] hell and you will piss your pants, the teddy bear he's the funny one in the movie, and don't get me started on the story line, it's cute, fuzzy teddy bear but some time the teddy bear grow up too, you got to see it.

Should be for 18 and up, very vulgar with lots and lots of sexual innuendos. Brought my 14 yr old she hated it.

It is not a super funny movie but I don't think that they could have made it any better. I was having a bad mood when I watched it and I was in a much better mood when I left. So if you're feeling down go see it... It might cheer you up!!

I thought the movie was very funny, but it's surely not for everyone. If you don't like lowest denominator humor then stay away, but if you love stupid humor then go for it.

Worse than bathroom juvenile attempted humor which shows no creativity. Over use of the "f " word to get adolescent giggles. Only movie I have ever walked out of.

It's a good movie and it's worth seeing, made me laugh with my girlfriend :) but was a bit corny/stupid humor and the story line was just not good.

This is (simply) a fun, happy-go-lucky, stupidly hilarious movie. Take it for what it is and enjoy. Do not look for anything 'deep' here; this is not the "English Patient" or its ilk. Embrace the humour!
