Black Swan is definitely a must-see movie, whether in the theatre or on DVD. I think the relationship between Nina and Beth could have been elaborated a bit, the movie had the potential to be much longer. The same-sex love scene was mildly uncomfortable for me as I went to this movie with my mom. I highly recommend it though, and would watch it again on DVD for sure. The dancing is beautiful, Natalie Portman is great and masters the delicate character she portrays. Mila Kunis is a nice, refreshing supplement to the film as well. It is a dark drama with some possibly disturbing scenes, not sure I would call it a 'thriller' per say but definitely a film noir.
