The film successfully wraps the whole idea, dream, and belief of any teenager about prom. It was a fun watch, some good laughs and some good old teary moments of being touched by a scene. Although the plot was predictable (how predictable can you get--IT'S ALL ABOUT PROM! LOL!), I still enjoyed watching it. I think most in the audience did but I can't be sure. I'm not big on the blonde lead's acting and most likely it's because of some of her cheesy lines and her few times failed delivery of some lines. I think she just need more acting lessons but she still did good. The hot bad boy lead, however, made some if not the whole audience swoon with his debonair looks and his witty and charismatic character! Plus he knows how to deliver the lines that kept the audience in thrall! I think you will enjoy the most seeing and observing the other characters, specially the funny but adorable ones where they have their own story within the story. And then voila! Everything just magically comes together on that one starry night! I like how it was sweet, funny, touching and most of the time portrayed well the emotional transition of teens to young adults and why prom is a much anticipated night of a young and soon-to-be adult's life.
