You guys are out of your minds. Yeah, it's a decent movie for kids but that doesn't excuse the movie for having zero depth. It's like a tech demo for CGI effects only. I hate Ben Stiller like poison to begin with but he doesn't even act in this movie! All he does is run and trip over things. I do think this is a better movie for kids than say Jurassic Park or Jumanji (both of which I think are far too scary) One of the most bizarre things about the production of this movie is when you go and spend all that money on CGI, you're doing it to make the movie more engaging. This movie isn't engaging at ALL. I was continuously aware that I was just watching a movie and that's not why I go to the movies. The t-rex skeleton was pretty cool tho. Basically, in a nutshell, the movie sounds like alot more fun that it actually is. Terrible comedy through and through. Not recommended for adults and barely recommended for kids (there are FAR better movies out there for kids)
