Carl was so funny at the very start! I really enjoyed this movie!

Aside from the unusually sad (None of the other Pixar movies are quite like that) opening, It was very sweet and heartwarming- *looks away* SQUIRREL!

Simply loved the whole story. The meaning to life, friendship not to mention trust. Highly recommend this to anyone. A feel good movie.

The movie was ok but I didn't like it that much because it was boring and I thought that the movie would have better pictures.
| 6/10 | thisisamanda@ - 6 reviews 29.1.2012 - age: 13-17 |
Up is so epic! It's sad in some spots but it's really a must see!

(Did not see in 3D) I really enjoyed the feeling this movie gave. It's not exactly a humorous film but one that emotionally connects to its audience. However I do believe for younger children that there's a chance they may find it uninteresting.

A great story, a fun and imaginative adventure with good characters.
| 10/10 | ryoung@ - 95 reviews 26.5.2010 - age: 26-35 |
It is a good movie to see no matter how old you are. Vary fun movie all the way around.
| 10/10 | balnesjw@ - 93 reviews 22.3.2010 - age: 26-35 |
It was pretty good! I wasn't expecting it to be that good but when I saw it I was surprised, it's pretty cute, it's kinda sad.

Another great animated film from pixar, very orginal, touching, happy and sad all at the same time.
| 9/10 | kevinchow_@ - 46 reviews 19.12.2009 - age: 18-25 |
Original...

It is beautiful movie for adults, I would say, more than for kids. It is inspiring life story. Two thumbs up!

I loved the show, But the beggining was so sad when ellie had died. But the ending was good.
| 8/10 | lynnseyk@ - 9 reviews 14.11.2009 |
The reason why the movie was so touching was because of its relationships in the story. There were several and each one was enhanced throughout the story and nothing was left behind. The colours and humour in the movie made for a perfect balance between the sad and the happy. Go see it!

It's a realy funny and sweet movie! Go for it!
| 10/10 | mihela_15@ - first review 13.11.2009 - age: 18-25 |
I felt that the movie had content that was not appropriate for young children. It was more an adult love story with some comedy aspects. My kids saw it 2 times and was not pleased with me when they had to see it the 2nd time. As a matter of fact one of my kids fell asleep, and later told me because the movie "sucked!" So from the mouth of my young child, take it or leave it. But from the 6 of us who went to see the movie, only 1 child liked it.

Definitely the best movie I have seen in a very long time. Hilarious, great story, amazing pictures, best music... A must see for the whole family...

Was sooo Hilarious! :) Made me laugh all the time. I loved the characters, especially the funny old guy and the cute golden retreiver. I loved it when the dog was like "I hid under your deck because I wov you" Sooo cute :) Adorable movie! Go see it!

A really fun movie with a great story and animation. It might even make one appreciate their relationship more. I'd watch it again.

It was hilarious, buy it now because it's not in theaters anymore. But I saw it in theaters. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

| 7/10 | bearbrandon09@ - 8 reviews 13.10.2009 - age: 18-25 |
The movie was alright. Nothing spectacular or amazing. Its worth renting not seeing in theaters. Its good for some laughs but had the potential to be much better. Save your money.
| 6/10 | fire_man_11@ - 11 reviews 5.10.2009 - age: 18-25 |
Terrible me and my dad just went and saw it but they spent the whole movie walking and had less plot then any movie i've ever seen I like most movies but this is my least favorite save the time and money and dont watch it EVER!!! No matter what it sucks.

It was pretty lame, I thought it could be way better than that, not worth paying the money to go see it.
| 4/10 | monica.milroy@ - first review 18.9.2009 - age: 13-17 |
My 5-yr-old and I were excited about this movie, but it was quite bad. Neither of us liked it. They were mean to the poor dog, there was a gun involved, and nothing really good happened. I'd say UP was a real DOWNER.
| 2/10 | j_pilotte@ - 2 reviews 18.9.2009 |
Amazing storyline with lots of visual stimulation. 3D always give me a headache but the minor irritation loses out to the sheer enjoyment this movie brought to myself/ the 10 year old I took with me (so I didn't go to a kids movie without an excuse)/ and my really hard to impress 50 something father. There was some sad parts, happy parts and plenty of hillarity to keep you entertained.
| 9/10 | tisha_2@ - 33 reviews 17.9.2009 - age: 18-25 |
Excellent storyline, adventure and creativity come in this terrific animation worth seeing over and over. Granted, it was not as good as Wall-E or Ratatouille and the "good guy vs bad guy" thing probably scared some kids off, but in general, an excellent film and a delighting story.
| 8/10 | ericvvv@ - 27 reviews 14.9.2009 |
Excellent, especially for older people. Could not ask for a better cartoon. Knew nothing about movie going in and that probably made the difference in enjoying it so much. Avoid trailers and just see it.

I would like to first say something to the unhappy people who decided to hate this film. Go crawl back into your corners with your favorite dark cloud hanging over head. Like really, people this was an animated film, so if you feel that certain elements were lacking in reality GET REAL IT'S A MOVIE! Now... this was great film and considering all the crap that Hollywood has shoved down our throats this year (you know those movies the people who crapped on this film actually liked)IT WAS SO refreshing to see a movie with such fun and emotion (that was those lulls Mr Negative above was talking about) and positive thinking. And it was even an escapist moment; it "dealt" with some pretty sad events. I laugh, I cried, and thus purged my emotions, try to do that James Cameron. That is the essence of art. Finally an entertaining movie that was a lesson to young and old; that hey life is an adventure and you only get one ride. So put your fangs away and shut your pie holes about all the little things that bug you. Go outside, get some sun and get out there and try to make the world a happier place.

I didn't want to see this and was convinced to go. Afterwards I was glad I did go. It had many good elements including fun and sarcastic humour, well organized character development and enjoyable characters that really grew on me. Go see it.

Great movie, fun for all; but the messages are more poignant for aging adults than for kids.
| 10/10 | sochorj@ - first review 29.8.2009 - age: 36-49 |
An extremely well done animation. I have trouble believing that it appeals as much to kids as it iss a must see for adults.

The movie was exciting and held my kids attention well. The nine year old wilderness explorer, Russell, was a scream. We loved the balloons. Hehehe.

I hated it. It was so boring it was not worth it I don't no why everyone posted it as 5/10 and up this movie is one of the worst i've ever seen.

I loved this movie, so did the 14 year old girl, 9 year old boy, 7 year old girl and 3 year old boy that I took to see it. I cried three times, a real story about life and love for adults. And a great funny adventure movie for the kids. My three year old wouldn't keep the glasses on but he still enjoyed it!
