Nicolas Cage at his best in this thrilling horror movie, Ghost Rider! I can't wait for the second movie-Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance!

Did not expect Cage to pull this of but he did. Awesome movie. Great cast. I'm hoping there will be a next one.

A decent movie, but nothing that really stands out.
| 6/10 | nathan_lust@ - 46 reviews 20.6.2011 - age: 18-25 |
Despite all of its Hellish content," Ghost Rider" is a B-movie at best. Nicolas Cage is usually awkward as his role of Johnny Blaze, but has the odd moment where he does try and look intimidating... when his skull is not engulfed in flames. The fights are short, if not disappointing, save for the end of the film. Despite all of that, most of the film is dull and so is the acting of mostly every actor/character. Peter Fonda as his role as Mephistopheles (a. k. a the Devil) saves this movie from getting a lower rating than, but not by much.

I am biased here since this has always been my favourite super hero. This movie is probably only worth a 7 but Ghostrider is just so cool!
| 9/10 | casserly5@ - 136 reviews 24.12.2009 - age: 36-49 |
I rented this movie since I like Eva Mendes. It was really bad and I quickly put it out of my mind to not tarnish my image of Mendes. That made me forget to return it. Now I own a really bad movie. Oops.
| 2/10 | turneron14@ - 71 reviews 5.9.2009 - age: 18-25 |
I watched this movie and theatres and I fell asleep nicholas Cage is not good in this movie and the plot was so lame don't see it or rent it you will be disappointed.
| 2/10 | hasny.abbasi@ - 3 reviews 3.8.2009 - age: 13-17 |
This movie is a lot better than most people give it credit for. I thought Nicolas Cage made a great Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider and Wes Craven was a great Blackheart, and the thing that surprised me the most was Peter Fonda as Mephistopheles. A fantastic show, the first time I saw it I was a little overwhelmed because I had never before heard of Ghost Rider but the second time I saw it I loved it. Excellent.
| 10/10 | ducksrule@ - 217 reviews 17.6.2009 - age: 18-25 |
This movie was so pointless. The only thing I liked was how he looked when he was the ghost rider. Don't even rent it.
| 2/10 | rlacy@ - 66 reviews 8.6.2009 - age: 13-17 |
I thought it was great how they made Mr. Ghostie, the action scenes were a bit short (a bit? Maybe shorter) and the villain fight was dumb.
| 6/10 | richyazda42@ - 78 reviews 13.7.2008 - age: 13-17 |
What a disappointment! I can't believe the storyline could be this lame.
| 5/10 | ronnielib@ - 4 reviews 28.2.2008 - age: 36-49 |
This film is a flop. The effects are great but the storyline is extremely boring. Block-buster, I think NOT!
| 2/10 | annick.custeau@ - 94 reviews 2.2.2008 - age: 26-35 |
Very disappointing from start to finish, the rider looks more cheesey then anything else, very poor dialougue.
| 2/10 | cfh_trendkill@ - 487 reviews 3.1.2008 - age: 26-35 |
It was ok, not for kids and it was like two stories in 1. First he likes the girl and he falls in love with her, and then he fights other people. My family saw it on view and my little brother is 7 and he watched the first oh 2 minutes of it and started getting scared so, not so good.

Loved the Ghostrider comics, was chilling to see NC turn into the Ghostrider. A good movie overall, it pretty much reached expectations. (Better than fantastic 4 HAHA.)

Almost a 1 for me but some eye candy for the guys bumps this one to a solid duece. Terrible movie.
| 2/10 | tdotgamer@ - first review 10.8.2007 - age: 26-35 |
The special effects were great, acting and casting was good but being a fan of the comics, I was slightly disappointed they could have done more. Hopefully if there is a sequel they will be able to nail that aspect.
| 6/10 | marie-claude.viens-giroux@ - 6 reviews 4.7.2007 - age: 26-35 |
This movie was ok, it could have been better, the trailers give away most of the good parts, a bit of a let down but it was still interesting because of the special effects and the action.
| 7/10 | mandin_s_27@ - 5 reviews 30.6.2007 - age: 13-17 |
This is one of the worst movie I have ever seen, I am surprised they can sell it. I think the only reason people will go watch it because of Nicolas Cage. First I was surprised that he would ruin his reputation by playing something like this, then I found out he loved this comic book (Ghost Rider)
| 2/10 | lilyjusman@ - 7 reviews 30.6.2007 - age: 36-49 |
Very good popcorn film, I wasn't so crazy about the acting, though I usually like Nicholas Cage in his lighter movies.
| 7/10 | mc_aka_alisa@ - 58 reviews 3.6.2007 - age: 18-25 |
When we went to this movie I didn't have any expectations as I'm not a huge huge fan of comic book movies. But I have to say I loved this move and have already seen it twice. My husband is a huge comic fan and he too loved this movie. It was great, everything I could hope for in a good movie.

I really enjoyed watching this movie. I am not a big fan of movies that involve the devil, but I would suggest many people check it out... The soundtrack is fantastic!!!

Somewhat disappointed as Nicholas Cage starred in this show. Was somewhat boring. Had a few good parts.

Ghost rider is a must see if you love explosions and intense action watch as Johnny Blaze amazes you with his stunts and his ghost rider persona.

This was the most disappointing film of 2007. I anticipated it as being a great action film. It was unrealistic, cheesy, and action sequences were rare and unsatisfying. The villain was very stereotypical, and the movie didn't travel to the root of his origins. Also, we didn't find out about any of the goons. All of them died with the first ten seconds of their fight with Ghost Rider. All in all, this was one of the worst superhero movies ever, and it is on par with the likes of Daredevil and Elektra.
| 5/10 | ferarri_360spider@ - first review 24.4.2007 - age: 13-17 |
I didn't think they still made such bad movies!!! I mean this could win an award of corniest movie ever... It's just bad bad bad! Save your money for Spiderman 3.

| 8/10 | kelsie1491@ - 2 reviews 14.4.2007 - age: 13-17 |
Not bad I thought the ghost thing was a lil over rated. The only part I liked was J+R forever cuz it means a lot to me in some way:P its worth 3 bucks go for it if u have nothing to do!
| 7/10 | swimmer123@ - first review 14.4.2007 - age: 13-17 |
From a female view, better than the comic, the girls boobs aren't as in as they are in the comic book. I loved it. I love most of the marvel comic's and it's great to see them on film. I'm going to go see it again with my son Cuz he wants to see it. And it has to be seen on big screen, to really enjoy it.

This movie is great I would rate it 10 except I dont like freaky movies. There were plenty of scary scenes. But I loved it I would see it again (if someone dared me) it was well structured everything tied together at te end.
| 9/10 | greenday_kicks_all@ - 3 reviews 8.4.2007 - age: 13-17 |
Pretty good movie, cool effects, a little corny compared to the other superhero movies but still worth seeing.
| 7/10 | grimreaper12@ - 2 reviews 8.4.2007 - age: 26-35 |
I saw this movie with 3 other friends and I enjoyed it the most. One of the things I didn't enjoy about this movie were the graphics. Most of them really sucked. Other than that, I really like it. I'm hoping to get a motorcycle exactly like the one in this movie. It rocked.
| 9/10 | cassaroll_sky@ - 2 reviews 7.4.2007 - age: 13-17 |
At the bottom of the comic book movie barrel, just slightly better than Daredevil. Cage is a horrible choice for the lead. They should have went with someone better looking as Cage's appearance is more a distraction than anything else. Story is weak and some of the effects, especially the face changes of the bad guys, are far from spectacular. Found myself bored and wanting the movie to end throughout.
