I thought it was very interesting and engaging to watch. To the reviewer who said the idea of how Jamal came to know the answers was 'implausible', to me - that was how the story was 'weaved' and made it enjoyable. The game show was a definite contrast to the India scenes. The acting was not overly dramatic, but I thought the editing and direction was very good - Oscar worthy? I would say yes.
