I saw The Trip tonight, after reading rave reviews. I walked out after an hour: deadly, tedious, boring, unfunny, self-indulgent. It makes My Dinner with Andre seem like an action film. Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan move lazily and witlessly through beautiful scenery. The Trip is vacuous and listless, full of cliches. It is not full of sound or fury, but it signifies nothing.
