The movie focus in Margaret Thatcher as an old woman being very alone as the kids are away and the husband is dead. Her realizations during her political career are seen mostly in headlines during flashbacks. We can really not know much about her or her time. Meryl Streep is superb playing this character. I certainly cannot compare with the real life one.
