An extreme dramatic thriller, one that you do not wanna miss.

It's the WORST movie ever Samuel Jackson sucks!!!

It was a great movie overall great casting choices. This wasn't the greatest movie ever, if the movie had been low budget I would have rated it 2 or 1 because it had a bad plot and no interesting parts what-so-ever and the ending was terrible. The end also didn't make any since because it was scripted terribly! If you are paying don't go see it!

Enjoyable from start to finish. Never felt like it dragged on and Samuel Jackson was excellent.

I liked it! By reading the other reviews on here, if you expected a shoot-em-up kind of movie, this one is not for you. It is a believable story that is not "way out there" as far as reality goes. I'll see it again when it comes out on DVD.

Saw alot of it coming. Most shocking moments were the outright blatant racist remarks from El capitain Jackson. Maybe 10+ years ago this would of pushed a topic of discussion. Or perhaps it's just because I'm a non-ghetto canadian based person. But that level of racism/non-pc remark seemed hateful and I felt uncomfortable watching it.

Horrible, pointless. If you are looking for a good action thriller movie don't watch this movie. HORRIBLE...

I always like Jackson movies becuase he never disappoints and he didn't again. On the other hand, from an acting point of view, Wilson was very good as well. Nevertheless, the movie script could have been much better.

We thought it was a good movie to go see. However, if you are looking for special effects and action, it's not the movie for you.

Good movie. Unfortunately this stuff happens in real life. Interracial couples face a lot of resentment and sometimes it does get to the point of harassment. However all is well that ends well. White man wins again! :)

It's not a big action movie it's more of a drama type of movie and some stuff was so so but over all it was a good movie to see.

The acting was good, but overall, it was a very predictable movie.

Terrible. I was forced into seeing it, and hated every single minute of it. One of the most pointless movies ever.

OMG I got up and left in the middle. Terrible. We didn't have to pay for it thank god. Problem with the movie we wanted to see.

Everyone will be surprised at Samuel L. Jackon's performance. He plays a sick police cop with a strong negative attitude towards the new couple living next door. Movie is good (ending is amazing though) but there are too many extra bits that they should just have taken out! You'll understand once you see it!

The ending was disappointing, just seemed like they didn't know how to tie it together at the end, it could have been better. Sam Jackson makes the movie - he was perfectly chosen for this role. Not much of a 'thriller' as it's categorized.

This movie was stinky. It said it would be a dramatic thriller but it totally wasn't. It was really dull and there was no point the climax was at the end and it wasn't even that exciting. Just don't see this movie... waste of time.

It is a awesome movie, I loved it. It was really long but I didn't even note that it was long I was so in to it I was wondering what was going to happen.

This movie is more of a drama than a thriller. The first 30 minutes are a bit boring but the rest was pretty good. Samuel L Jackson and Patrick Wilson played their characters perfectly.

A dramatic thriller? , no way, all the intense parts just turned out to be funny by accident. Don't spend money to see this,

This was the worst movie I have ever seen it was so pointless. The only reason I chose this movie was because of the trailer.

Very good movie. It had a very interesting premise and the plot was well delivered. However there are points in the movie that you realize how pointless the story really is which is why I'm only giving it an 8 out of 10. Definitely keeps you on edge the whole way through though...

Very good movie. Samuel L Jackson is a fantastic actor, and a good plot keeps you on the edge of your seat. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.

To put it plainly! This movie has no point. It has numerous unrelated scenes. And is comparable to snakes on a plane! Minus the memorable I liner! Do not pay gas money to see this movie!

A racially mixed bottle of pop getting shaken and shaken for the entire 110 minutes, with the cap coming off exactly when it needed to. The trailer for this movie delivers the premise clearly, caution your neighbour. Samuel L. Jackson is type cast yet again as the my way or the highway guy with a bad attitude. It's effective as usual, though at times new face Patrick Wilson steals the stage. Kerry Washington (The Last King of Scotland) did the best she could in this male dog barking movie. Her interracial marriage is an underlying theme, but her role has no momentum and never takes the wheel. I found this film to be a tense and powerful experience. With a couple more quality ingredients it would have been a classic. Tidbit: Anyone familiar with the movie 'HOSTEL' starring Jay Hernandez, will notice him as a police officer partnered with Samuel L. Jackson.

A somewhat lame entry with not a lot of substance. Moved slowly. Nothing really new here either. Dumb script too. As great an actor as Sam Jackson is (the main reason I chose to see this) its disappointing he takes on more and more crappy roles in so-so pictures. Wish he was more selective in the parts and films he signs on. I'll give this effort a 5 and thats generous.

Samuel L. Jackson played an excellent role as villain if I can put it that way. In this movie, he couldn't accept his new neighbour and was doing anything to get rid of them even if he took matters into his own hands. He's a police officer would that help? Regardless of this field work, his neighbours decides to fight back and end this cat and mouse game before lives are taken away.

I will never get those two hours back! I lost count of the number of plot points that were simply dropped and counted several more that were halfheartedly bound to the story. Neil LaBute and David Loughery are making a boatload of cash in a profession that they are clearly not cut out for. Is there a mountain of film on the cutting room floor? If you are planning on seeing this movie alone, I really recommend that you bring a book and a book light. The only redeeming quality was Samuel L. Jackson's acting in about four scenes. Two of those scenes are near the end of the film which is why I suggest a book...

Don't bother wasting your time or money seeing this movie! The previews make the movie seem/sound interesting, but trust me it's ALL hype. Don't bother paying for the rental either, bootlegged is the way to go ;-)

Don't listen to any bad reviews you see... this one is fun and entertaining and its about time considering all the terrible blockbusters we had to experience lately...

Lakeview Terrace is a great movie. Action keeps going on. It shows real facts about today's cruel racism. Usually white against black but in this movie it shows opposite facts; how a black police officer has this hate towards white people. He was ready to do anything to destroy his life. Otherwise , it shows you facts might be happening in real life but can't be necessarily noticed because the're rare in the're kind. A great movie to watch!

I'm not sure if everyone was watching the same movie, but the person who gave it a 3/10 pretty much hit the nail on the head. I mean, when Samuel did Snakes on a Plane... he himself knew that that movie was a joke; however I didn't blame him for doing it because he got cash at the end of the day. It was bad, yet funny. Now this one... he was just reaching for things that weren't there. Sure, the whole interracial thing was evident, but to be honest... why does everyone have to go nuts over stuff like that. To each his own. I don't want to have to see that all over the movie screen. This movie had so many holes in it, that it was dreadful. I'll admit, I laughed I'm sure the most in the theater, but that's because of how ridiculous it was. I had to laugh if not, I would have just fallen asleep. I agree... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY... Samuel L. Jackson should be reaching for Oscar nominations... not penny anny stuff like this. Leave that to someone else who's trying to start off in the acting biz in order to get their name out there on the silver screen.

I watch a lot of crappy movies and this tops them. It was so predictable throughout the whole thing. I had problems keeping my eyes open, [...]. These is a barely tolerable movie blitz out of your head, so I can only imagine the suffering for clear headed individuals who endured the whole thing. I feel sorry for you and wish you hadn't wasted your time and money, just to put some greenback into Samuel L. Jacksons pocket.
