My girlfriend had bought Julia Child's cookbook when the movie first came out in theaters and after trying some recipes, we were both hooked. So needless to say, we rented this movie to find out more about Julia. The movie follows the path of both Julia as she starts to learn to cook and Julie, a call operator who blogs about performing all of Julia's recipes in a year. Both stories weave back and forth and both have their interesting plots and compelling cast. Although maybe a little long at points, the stories are both moving and engaging. Much better then I had expected.
