It was very good in the history of that part of earth, desert, the sands, and the architect, extraordinary. Well explained, working with the old intertwined with the new. If you never have been in that part of the world, very educational. Must see.

We liked it so much when we saw it last year in Victoria that we're going again today in Vancouver.

This made me so mad! I was expecting a wonderful IMAX adventure of archaeology and instead got propaganda and we wasted an hour of our vacation on drivel. Why is Science World showing this and why did Helen Mirren narrate it?

Fantastic photography takes us to a beautiful land beyond. Describes well to us about Arabia's culture. Well narrated.

After having the chance to visit Saudi Arabia 10 years ago this movie shows you a rather idealistic view of the country. Views are fantastic and amazing when you think that this country is mostly deserts and human engineering is enabling people to live in harsh environments. Worth seeing just for the views.

Propaganda? Oh come on. Look, you're not going to go see Arabia 3-D at IMAX for some kind of political statement. Are you a saudi or a muslim? Probably not! So, you'll likely never be able to enter the kingdom. So you go see this film for its beautiful images in 3-D and that's it. THAT'S IT. Relax.

Sounds and looks very much like propaganda. "Life is good and getting better", when reality is horrifying for many people.

Really great, short & to the point, showing the past & present in a wonderfully done way, of course, bigoted people will not like it, but others will for sure!!!

This film is a bald faced propaganda piece from the Saudi Government. While its pictures of the hajj are amazing, the whole film is contrived to instill some sort of stereotypical "American" an enlightened and glowing view of the Kingdom today/Islam/ even the founding Saudi King. Not worth your time.

Slow going, short, cartoonish, and not much scope... a pass.

Somewhere between a real documentary and a puff piece by the Saudi chamber of commerce, it's still a visually interesting film. Bit of a yawn at times, but informative and filled with great swooping shots of the Saudi landscapes and major cities.
