Diaz plays a slovenly, alcoholic don't-give-a-damn teacher looking for a meal ticket. She insults everyone of co-workers and students and they let her get away with it. Then she tricks another teacher into taking the blame for all her misdemeanours, who finally ends up arrested by the police and Diaz's character remains unblemished. When she finally realizes she is not qualified for another job, she resigns herself to teaching and makes out with the sports teacher who she has insulted throughout the film. The film's use of insulting stereotypes is obnoxious and it makes Diaz look pitiful as she tries to fit into the character.
