The girl often mimics the pacing of the original version's girl, she is not dark enough, but worst the tension is often diffused at major moments by the director. This movies shoots too many blanks if you compare it to the Swedish version. However if this is your first exposure to this movie then not bad, certainly NOT the movie of the year. Also can they stop filling up the gaz tank in Hollywood movies just before the cars explode, it's becoming a farce.
