Despite all the bad ratings I saw here, I decided to go and see it since the trailer was interesting. The acting is generally weak (I've seen much worse though) and some parts are completely nonsensical but I got caught up in the story anyway and surprisingly I enjoyed it. Yes it could have been better but my expectations were low and it rose above them. It made me think about what I would do with those powers myself. I think that in the hands of mature adults, it would lead to destruction much faster than it did with these adolescents. Kudos to the young black guy in the movie. He was a better actor than anybody else here. If you don't expect too much and like the supernatural I think you are going to like it.
