Within all its dilemmas, and conflicts, The Patriot is raw cheese. Michael Bay attempts to construct a knowledgeable history picture, and he fails. Every film he makes is in America mainly because he's patriotic. This movie, from an American's standpoint, was thrilling. But to everyone else, this made them look bad.
