I read that The Illuminati murdered director Stanley Kubrick because his movie "Eyes Wide Shut" revealed too much of one of their secret ceremonies, so I was interested in seeing a film about this secret society. Angels & Demons moves at a quick pace and I was able to understand the gist of the story but I think that someone probably has to be familiar with the book to truly follow what is going on. The stone religious statues, shrines, and buildings were fascinating to look at. The last 20 minutes of this movie is very well done.
