The Haunting is a first rate horror classic that plays on one's nerves for not what you see but rather for what you don't see leaving your mind to send chills down your spine. Filmed in black and white with a superb cast. Standouts are Julie Harris and Claire Bloom. The Haunting will haunt you long after it's over. One of the best films in the supernatural genre this spooky gem won't disappoint. Not recommended for children, this is strictly adult fare.
