Biutiful is a complex story. It explores ethics from unusual angles. It also looks at how seemingly unconnected events relate. The acting is terrific, the film work mesmerizing and the soundtrack in particular is other worldly. I see the other reviews say it is depressing and I guess it is but there is also an aspect of great beauty to it as the title suggests.
