People in this story change in subtle and quite remarkable ways - are transformed. The mouthy boy has a sobering experience which makes him look more carefully and consider before making dumb remarks. He becomes supportive to a grieving family. An angry, intolerant man is losing his wife and daughter, and we are inspired by Clooney's character to compassion. Exploitation and injustice are foiled by a simple decision to do the right thing... Quite good, worth it.
