Better than I thought it would be! Even though it's a "girly" movie I actually enjoyed it!

The songs were not catchy, the characters were not to bad. Story line was a little different but overall I would still see it again.

Overall I was expecting this would have romance in it but not this much honestly pretty worthless even if you don't pay and there was no need for the songs.

This movie was ok. This singing was really annoying. They don't really need it. The voices were really good for the characters. At the end, Rapunzel's hair should have been at least up to her shoulders.

This movie would have been a 10 except that I don't agree with some parts of it for a child viewing. Example when the evil mother stabbed the boy with a knife, I thought that was quite troublesome for a young child to see. Otherwise it was a terrific movie and a must see for sure.

This movie was pretty good. You must see it in 3D as it gives the fantastic vision. The plot of the story was very understandable and I recommend it for all viewers, no matter how old they are. It is a great movie to go sit down and watch with your family as it is good for all viewers.

It is the year 2011 and quite frankly I'm a little ashamed of Disney right now. They have been focusing way too hard on their family channel and they often come out with live action films that suck REALLY BADLY all in the name of buying some time. BUT THEN... it all pays off. What we got with our patience was the most spectacular animated Disney film to come out in quite some time! That movie would be Tangled. It's rehashed all of the classic Disney films with a new, modern day twist. Story- it's Rapunzel... that's really all I gotta say. BUT WAIT... they've made the story... MORE INTERESTING?!?!?! WHaaa? Ohhh yes they explain precisely how Rapunzel's hair got so long AND they actually made the witch and prince more developed characters! Not to mention they put in more characters along the way! But my absolute favourite character by far is the horse, MAXIMUS!! He is HILARIOUS and kind of reminds me of the horse from Dreamwork's "The Road to El Dorado". There are also a whole lot of references to classic films! Not even in just Disney films, there are also some references to things like Indiana Jones. Someone like me was able to recognize it right away! Now, it is partly a musical and has a song thrown in here and there. I see what they were trying to do; they were once again trying to rehash the musical scores of their past classic films. But in all honesty, they didn't do too well for the most part. I mean, some of the songs were just straight up unnecessary and really shouldn't have been put in in the first place. The film would have been better without them. It's what people like me like to call "Addition by Subtraction". But it all pays off for one particular music scene, of which I SWEAR is the most iconic Disney song since Alladin's "A Whole New World!" some of its oddball humor also relates to real life as well. Like there's this one part where Rapunzel is at war with herself and keeps changing her mind on whether or not to go back to the tower. It's so true because girls ALWAYS fight with themselves over past decisions and I think that was ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS! I'm not gonna spoil anything else so just go watch it yourself. Presentation- alright now lets get down to some of the best stuff in the movie. The animation and texture's of the film are INCREDIBLE! It's a treat to the eyes that, in all honesty, wouldnt be any better if the movie was in 3D. They were JUST THAT GOOD! And the atmosphere very well matches the emotions of the characters and often the scenery changes immediately as soon as a character with a different attitude comes along. But most impressive of all, every single hair on repunzel's head flows beautifully and gracefully, and is a sight for sore eyes whenever it glows. And most noted of all, the voice acting fits every character PERFECTLY! Overall, this is a movie that is a blast for all ages. It has a little something for everyone. Romance, Action, Comedy, Music, Film Noir, Drama, and countless other things. It is a Disney classic that is a huge relief compared to what Disney is usually doing. I rate this movie a 9.5 out of 10. Would have been a perfect 10 if it werent for those unnessecary songs..

In the beginning, I was skeptical about seeing this movie, because I am just not the kind of person who watches blonde, long-haired teenage girls sing themselves around a stage. However, I must admit that I judged this movie, inaccurately, by its cover. This was a really, really good movie. It was funny. It was a tearjerker, and a classic spin on a fairy tale older than time. There was some good songs in it, and the witch was the best part! She was so seductive! :D I have a 3 year old who insists on watching this now, instead of some of his other favorite movies. You should really take your kids to see this.

Enchanting and funny, Tangled is a must-see film that keeps its audience entertained. The hilarious and witty script fits well with the colourful visuals and lively characters. It is an old-fashioned, charming Disney film that reminds us of the classic Disney films. Of course, where would a Disney film be without its characters voicing their emotions in a song? This movie will sureley entertain the audience, no matter what demographic they are in.

Tangled was a fantastic movie. I saw it with my mother and family friend, and we were bursting out laughing, and sighing love-riddled 'awww's and even tearing up. The humor and modernity of it was well written, and the special effects (especially the 3-D ones) were very well done as well. All in all, an amazing movie.

Saw this movie back in December 2010 (in the Michigan, US) and absolutely loved it! It was such a cute, sweet and romantic movie. I really wanted to see it again! Even my boyfriend said he wants to see it after I told him all the story. Can not wait when it's out in dvd. I wonder is it really first week in cinemas for Canada?

One of Disney's best ever. Have seen it twice already and going back for a third time to take a different grandchild. It has the usual good girl-evil woman plot that Disney is famous for but the character of Flint? Ryder and Max the superhorse takes it along a humorous path that many Disney films lack. I especially enjoyed the "healing light" aspect of this film and all the nuances associated with that. Some people will discern an underlying spiritual subtext that is quite refreshing and not overdone!!! (and it isn't new-agie either)
