Campbellton

This film is quite brilliant and entertaining. The plot is pretty standard story, the rise and fall of a movie star. In this case the movie star is from the silent era and he has trouble when sound is introduced. What makes this film special is that it is also a "silent film" made to look like that era. Quite a surreal experience to see this old-school type of film in a movie theater in 2011. You would probably enjoy it more if you like silent films, but even if you don't, the novelty is enough to keep you entertained as well.
