Both cutting edge tv when it was first aired and still today over a decade later - offers a more realistic portrayal of gay life than it's U. S. counterpart that took a more sitcomish and mellow dramatic take on gay life with unrealistic situations that inacurately portrayed the gay experience. The original British series captured life in the gay lane for the new millenium - gay people being young, in love (and not) and unapologetic for who they are. 10 stars and 2 thumbs up!
