Excellent look at the complexity inherent to the palestinian situation.

Good depiction of a story that could easily turn into a diatribe. Very balanced with excellent acting.

It was better than I expected. Even though it's just a movie, I like the fact that it shows both sides and their families involved in the conflict between the two countries. It gave viewers some insights into what it's like to live through the conflict on both sides.

I have been to the Gaza and West Bank and was expecting a lot more from the film-maker. Oh, well. The popcorn was good.

I was disappointed with the film. I thought it would be more gritty and detailed but it was very tame.

Don't miss this movie, it's show a dream that maybe one day will be a reality, no more war but peace in the Middle East, if the new generation is like those youths of the film the peace will come. It is a beautiful film, made me cry...

Excellent movie which is very thought provoking and sensitive. We are stuck in a harsh situation in the middle east and this movie explains the dilemma and hardship on both sides. A must see!!!

The beauty of this movie is that it takes a complex subject--war, and a complex real-life conflict, the Israel-Palestine dispute, which has been going on for years, and gives it a human face through the characters of two young people, one on the Israeli side, one Palestinian. The war, as seen through the eyes of these two protagonists, seems so pointless, so nonsensical, and the solution is a truism, love conquers all.

An excellent movie; a great story, very powerful, emotional and with a great message. This movie is another fact that war is evil; violence is not the answer to solve problems, it makes it only worse. Story of courage, love and friendship. Hiam Abbass is a great actress, as well as the rest of the cast were great.[...] Watch it, a must see.

It's a story about humanity, friendship, love (and poetry) I confirm word by word what written by Julieb43@. After watching the movie you will not see anymore the Israeli-Palestinian problem with the same eyes. I strongly recommend watching the movie which in addition will bring you a real amusement.

This was an excellent film, told from the points of view of both an Israeli girl and a Palestinian guy. Even though they live close to each other, she in Jerusalem and he in Gaza, they are worlds apart because of the ongoing struggles there. These two never really meet but correspond by email. How they come to correspond is slightly incredulous, but one forgives that because of the beautiful screenplay and wonderful acting by the two young people. Each shares a desire for peace amidst the suffering of both sides. The film is not melodramatic but tells its story honestly. It brilliantly interweaves adolescent life with the country's hardships. A beautiful film which doesn't take sides. Bravo!

A thought provoking film that made me appreciate my life. We get to see the way conditions are in different parts of the world. Great cast, great music, a worthwhile experience.
