It could have been better but overall it was still worth seeing.

Need to be more intense to help the story build up to its potential, not very focused from getting to point a - b.

This movie was sooo incredibly boring! I thought it might have gotten good, but it never did... And when the end came, you wondered why you had to watch all of that just to see that little ending. Wasn't scary, it just seemed that way because of the music. I'm not kidding, I love scary movies and suspensful movies, but this is nothing to waste your time with.

I thought this movie was in the middle. Wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but it also wasn't the best. I got a bit bored at the end, and it was a bit suspenseful, I'll give them credit for that. (;.

It was pretty good, VERY jumpy, but it made NO sence! Was pretty good for a supence/horror...

Trust me, this movie was one of the worst ever made. Imagine trying to clone a bit of the 6th sense, a taste of Ghost, and a dash of stupidity and this is the end result. No sense at all, and the ONLY frightening scenes are when the poorest of directors scares you with fast camera work and outlandish loud music jumps. For the first time, I saw 3 people leave half way through, and there were only 9 of us there. If these are the type of roles Sarah Michelle Gellar is offered these days, she should consider quitting the acting profession.

The Return is an excellent dramatic thriller for several reason. First, the atmosphere of the movie, keep you inside it until the end. Second, Sarah Michelle Gellar & Peter O'Brien made an excellent work in word of actor play. Finally the réalisation and the story are really good. Don't miss it, you may be sure than you will not forget this excellent movie..

Sarah Gellar is done as an actress after this turkey of a movie. If you thought the Grudge movies were awful, this latest flick makes them look like best picture of the year. Stay away, stay far away.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
a superior film, given the limits of how Hollywood dumbs down the genre. The diegesis (the internal logic of the fictive world of the film) is almost perfect - save for the fact that the young heroine sees the killer BEFORE she could have - which is so rare for this genre. Sarah M G really surprises. Forget The Grudge cottage industry.

It was horrible. For like an hour, nothing intresting happened just a bunch of crap that she sees and stuff, Then finally it gets more interesting and ends in the middle of nowhere. You're like "That's it? " It's not worth paying for, waste of money.

One wonders as the credits roll by why in the world was this piece of trash ever made. Conceived? Nothing is there, leaving only the descriptive paragraph. It is usually in some reviews that the editor writes: "this review reveals the plot" Forget that, for this movie doesn't have one. This waste of an afternoon and money doesn't have anything. Zippo. Stay away.

It sucked. I went with a friend to see it and it was completely my fault for picking it. Bad me! My friend was so bored and was crimpling paper the whole time while making fun of it. It's not much of a thriller and definitely not a horror. It was slow at the beginning and I was hoping it'd pick up later on, but it never did. Not much character development and basically a bore. My friend is so never going to let me forget this.
