Two great actresses! It was not out long enough, and I am disappointed. A great flick!

Great movie. Loved every bit of it as a learnt some morals from the movie. A must see for family and friends, whether religious or not.

I liked it but it wasn't my favorite, keke palmer was great but dolly parton ruined it. The chruch idea was cute but the abuse between the mother and daughter was too much.

It was a very uplifting movie full of entertainment and amazing music. I really enjoyed it because you didn't have [to] think through the movie but could just sit back and enjoy it. It is very predictable but the music was amazing.

This is my first review but after seeing Joyful Noise, I had to write about it. Now I'm a sucker for movie with musical theme so maybe I was already predisposed to liking it. I was intrigued by how Dolly Parton would interface with Queen Latifah - it was well done! The sparks that flew were believable and brought the story to another level and don't get me started about the singing/musical parts... The best movie to compare this one to is Footloose. Same "move over old 'cuz here comes new", same young love and parental unit disapproving but the whole story carried by a Gospel choir twist.

Wonderful musical talent, it was a fresh look at an old theme that I thoroughly enjoyed.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this movie. The cast was fantastic! I recommend this movie to all ages. It was well put together. At the end of the movie I was wanting more. I would pay to see it again.

Although the movie is full of clichés and the story line has been done many times, it works because of great acting and a very good musical score. If you love that type of music, you'll enjoy the movie. The movie also has a few very good moments that make it a satisfying experience.

I LOVED the music. The story line was good but the music was GREAT. I wanted to get up in the theater and get my praise on. WONDERFUL and heartwarming. I'll be seeing it again tonight.

Super cheesy American/religious propaganda with unrealistic characters and the occasional good choir song. You'd be better off watching an episode of Glee. Was worth a few good laughs but would only recommend it if you love God, choirs and bad movies.

Joyful noise was so Amazing!! I saw it 3 times and I would watch again. I love the music, all the songs, everything about it!!! I go see anything that has Dolly Parton in it! I met Dolly in Dollywood last May, I even got to sing with her, we sang "I will all ways love you". It was amazing, people asked me if I see Dolly differently now in the movie seen, I met her in person and I really do. So everyone who has not seen Joyful noise go see it!! Joyful noise is the best movie of the year!!

What a happy movie to see. I loved the music and story. It makes you want to sing and be loved. You can get a chuckle out of some of the scenes. Go see it and be glad you are alive.

Great movie. I found it uplifting and carried a positive message (hard to come by these days), and I loved the music. I was thoroughly entertained, but understand that this [is] not a theatrical masterpiece if that's what you're looking for, it's a feel good gospel movie.

A great movie, funny, entertaining and good story. Loved both Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah. Lot of people with beautiful voices and great acting talents. Loved the songs, specially Man in the mirror, M. Jackson's song. I think this is a great movie for the young ones, teaches them about family and life lessons.

I don't know what the critics are all about - meh, they're just Joyful Noise!! I Loved this movie. The Mashups at the end are funktastic and I found myself loving every minute of the entire cast. Dolly and ViRose - I waited the whole movie for you two to get along... and ya did! LOVED it! Can I Get an AMEN In Hyear?! Well done and thanks! To the Queen: that scene would rock your Mother. Awesome acting... felt the Mother AND the daughter; Fabtastic! For me, it was a Joyful Night and I loved the Noise. See it in a theatre with pumpin' sound.

I like Queen and Dolly both quite a bit but I was disappointed with an extremely week story line. Far to predictable.

This is the kind of movie that just lifts your spirits and makes you feel good! The coziness of a small rural town, the family centered characters and the wonderful music and singing make this movie a definite hit! It's funny, heartfelt and inspiring! A show that both the young and old can appreciate and totally enjoy! Go see It!! You won't be disappointed!

Serie B movie: good to watch home on a Monday night when it is freezing cold outside. Not to spend a dollar there. Sorry, I did not like it.

I love the theme of racial cooperation and reconciliation based in (wait for it...) church! The music is great, like Glee with a gospel twist. I love Queen Latifah, and the unlikely matchup with Dolly Parton works well, producing some really funny moments. I would not want to take kids younger than 13 because of some coarse language. There is some teen sexuality, but it's mild by modern standards.

Each character has a problem, and each finds a way to deal with them so that they can function again in society. In a world that is becoming increasingly darker, this movie provides a certain levity to the heart. Although not an ultimate solution to our problems, returning our attention to the fact that we are at the core, still humans with all the feelings and vulnerabilities, and it provides a method to deal with our stressful issues that creep up on a daily basis--that is to be COMPASSIONATE to each other.

This is like an extended episode of Glee. It's okay. It's watchable although Dolly Parton is morphing into Joan Rivers-- which was distracting. Queen Latifah and some of the other actors did an excellent job. Kind of predictable, but a commentary on small town America and the problems of today. Too long and just okay.

I loved it. It was entertainment. Clean, humourous fun. I shouldn't think anyone being honest could say they didn't really laugh, smile and even want to cry. Good job. Don't be too sophisticated to see it.

Wow! The singing alone is worth the ticket price. Pleasantly surprise how much I enjoyed this movie as did others in the theatre. The musical numbers were just beautiful and so were the singing voices by the cast. Thumbs up!

This is a very good movie. Although the editing leaves something to be desired, the music is quite good and so is the acting. The story is somewhat predictable but it remains a "feel good" movie. If you like "Glee" you'll probably enjoy it. Some of the younger actors are people we will want to see again. Some of the music is quite good, but as we are spoiled by the likes of "Glee", most of the musical numbers are very good but not necessarily "unforgettable". That being said, I'll be buying a few copies of the soundtrack to give to some people I love dearly.
