The only thing that really stood out in this film was Milo Ventimiglia as Bo.
| 7/10 | mischyfishy@ - 2 reviews 14.5.2007 - age: 18-25 |
So cheap that it becomes to be funny, so previsible that you fall asleep. Do not see that thing that they call to be a movie, it's a torture!

It's a great movie I dont know why people keep saying [...] about it. Atleast for once they actually control themselves and actually know what they are. Most werewolf movie character are like" Wow, I can't remember a thing". I found the werewolf giving the finger pretty funny. And dude, not because we are between 13-17 that we dont get respect. We are not idiots, we're just young...

Movie started real good, the parking lot attach was great too but it needed a bit more werewolf action, great to see that the werewolf looked a lot like the one in american werewolf in London.

WOW totally cheezy!!! A wearwolf giving the finger c'mon!!! And it was compleatly obvious who she had to kill they tried to make you think it was her co worker but c'mon there was no suspense maybe a little sacry just cause things pop out of no where no actual frightning things.
| 3/10 | shannybanannie@ - 2 reviews 27.3.2005 - age: 18-25 |
It was better than doing nothing. A tiny bit funny. Very typical for a wolf movie, you could guess what was going to happen. I wouldn't recommend going to the cinema to see this movie, but if your extremely bored one night it maybe worth a the laugh to rent it.
| 5/10 | princesssmoo@ - 3 reviews 24.3.2005 - age: 26-35 |
It wasn't that great... ginger snaps was better, I like ginger snaps though.

Total crap!!! This is not even a horror! [...]... avoid at all costs... or sneak into this one... it's not worth anything!!!
| 2/10 | pentium3_600@ - first review 13.3.2005 - age: 13-17 |
O. K people the wearwolf thing has so been done already! I thought it was a comedy! The actors were great, Christina Ricci has really grown up and who knew Mya was in this flick? But this is really one of those movies that you realy should rent rather than pay the 10$ Bucks to go see at the movies!!

I though it was a good movie me an my boyfriend like it :)

What happened to Wes? He brought us all the Hell Raiser movies I'm very dissapointed since when did you change to comedy? I really enjoy Wes's movies but this one? Wake up Wes!!!
| 6/10 | sparovec@ - first review 6.3.2005 - age: 50+ |
This was a really dumb movie. And maybe if this movie came out in the 80's then the warewolf would seem realistic but it didn't.
| 2/10 | foxy_chic2005@ - first review 6.3.2005 - age: 13-17 |
Ok this wasn't worth the money and isnt worth a long review. It just flat out sucked.
| 1/10 | rhicks19@ - 2 reviews 6.3.2005 - age: 18-25 |
I am a big horror movies fan. With Cursed, not so much into werewolves to begin with, and the movie was in my opinion very low-budget... Save your money to rent SAW or the Grudge instead!! ~.
| 5/10 | egratton@ - 2 reviews 4.3.2005 - age: 26-35 |
Crap. The best thing about this movie was the popcorn. Of all the crappy horror movies released in the past 12 months (and there have been a few), this one is the worst. Don't even rent it. In fact, if you must go, give your money to the theatre and walk away. At least you'll save an hour and a half of your life.

This movie is the greatest movie I have ever seen... NOT... it's the stupidest movie I have ever seen in my life... crappy acting and an awful scrip... wat a piece of crap!!!
| 3/10 | flip_babe_321@ - first review 3.3.2005 - age: 13-17 |
It wasnt what I expected!!! Plot line sucked and there was no scary moments to speak of really!!! I went on a cheap night so it wasnt that much of a rip off I guess... lol... !!!
| 6/10 | lordoftheringsgod@ - first review 2.3.2005 - age: 18-25 |
Not too bad... I thought it would be crap, but it was alright... great performance by Ricci... good direction as well... they lost it mainly due to the bad script.
| 8/10 | spiny_007@ - 106 reviews 2.3.2005 - age: 18-25 |
This movie was terrible. I could hardly wait to leave the theatre. Lame story, terrible acting, dialogue, direction. Just one big mess!! I haven't seen a movie so bad in quite a while. As I walked out you could over hear people complaining about what a crappy movie it was. STAY AWAY!!!
| 1/10 | bunezander@ - 14 reviews 1.3.2005 - age: 36-49 |
First of all, I'm a huge fan of horror movies and this movie as a horror was absolutely horrible. It wasn't scary or suspenseful at all. I laughed more then anything else, and most of the laughs were at how cheesy and bad the speical effects were. There were a couple of good funny lines, but it doesn't make the movie worth seeing. By the end I just wanted the movie to end so I could leave. The acting was alright from most of the cast, except Mia, Shannon Elizabeth. I rated this a 1 because the over all rating is way too high, otherwise I would of rated it a 4 max.

Movie was great... I dont think people understand that this was also meant to be a poke at the genre... oh well.

I wasn't expecting much from this movie, but found myself surprisingly entertained throughout. Good movie, well made, worth seeing.
| 7/10 | denimmm@ - 2 reviews 27.2.2005 - age: 36-49 |
Before I saw this movie I was like(im gonna frik men) and then I saw it and it was more like a comedie [...]go see it if you want but your not gonna frik.
| 6/10 | misplouf@ - first review 27.2.2005 - age: 13-17 |
This rating is subjective. If you are looking for a horror, like I was, then stay away from this pile of crap. But if you were looking for a laugh then this works. The only reason I didnt walk out of it like most people in the theatre is because this is such a pathetic attempt at a horror that it had me laughing my butt off. Very sad effects/plot/acting. So 2/10 for a horror and 7/10 for a laugh.
| 2/10 | zachiej11@ - 10 reviews 27.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |
This was a pretty good movie, I thought it could have been better. I found it rather predictable. Not worth 10 bucks to see, go see it on a cheap night.
| 6/10 | markus694u@ - 62 reviews 27.2.2005 - age: 26-35 |
Very bad acting and special effects! Wait til it comes out on video if you are desperate to see it! Really BAD!
| 4/10 | sparkle561@ - 6 reviews 27.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |
Wes Craven hasn't done anything good since "Scream". I gave that movie a chance anyway, but I was strongly disappointed. It's "Days Of Our Lives" meets "Teen Wolf". Christina Ricci gives a very weak performance. What more can I say - BORING!
| 3/10 | mr_megamix@ - 3 reviews 27.2.2005 - age: 26-35 |
Ok where can I start.. lets put it this way if somebody give me free tickets for this movies I won't take them.. this movie was a comedy instead a scary movie. It's not scary at all...
| 2/10 | panoch@ - first review 27.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |
The plotline is so BAD. I wasted 10$ for a crap. Dont go see it.
| 3/10 | bb_aaliyah7901@ - 39 reviews 27.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |
I went to see this with some friends for a friday night scare and I'll say that this got the job done. Yes, it could of been more scary but it kept me up for 2/3 of the night! If you can handle American Werewolf in london then this shouldn't be a problem.
| 7/10 | lburton@ - first review 26.2.2005 - age: 1-12 |
I thought that the movie was excellent. It was bursting with young talent and fresh faces on the big screen. I went to see it because I am a horror movie fan and I agree if you like werewolf movies you'll enjoy this one. Also, I love Christina Ricci.
| 9/10 | s_g_payne@ - 5 reviews 26.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |

| 3/10 | jnadrum121@ - first review 26.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |
If you are a horror movie fan don't see this movie unless you are in a mood for a comedy. Cursed is sooo bad, its almost, I said, ALMOST good. Otherwise, its bad. I really can't say anything more...
| 6/10 | j2081@ - first review 26.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |
I can sum up this movie in one word: R-E-N-T-A-L.
| 6/10 | vodriscoll@ - 140 reviews 26.2.2005 - age: 36-49 |
Avoid if you can, go see Wolf with Jack Nicholson and Mrs Pfeiffer. Way better a werewolf movie.

Freaky, if you liked "ginger snaps" go see this movie, [...]

I won tickets to this show as well and I still felt ripped off. Imagine if I paid for it? Very well done movie but nothing new, nothing I haven't seen before. But isn't that what Hollywood is about? Movies today lack imagination. I'm of the age now that movies I saw when I was young are being remade. Granted, they are slicker than its original counterpart but slicker does not make it better. There have been a lot of technological advancements in cinema but nothing can replace a good old fashion storyline. Special effects and "Slickness" just add to an already good movie it cannot do anything for a bad one. Although Cursed was well done, it just wasn't enough to make it a good movie. Give us something new Hollywood!!!

The first 40 minutes were ok but then the movie turned into a comedy... some parts were really funny, but it did not match in a "horror" film...
| 5/10 | him_00@ - 16 reviews 26.2.2005 - age: 18-25 |
I had the luck of winning these tickets from the hour magazine and just let me say, that this movie is worth seeing. It's really decent in comparison to other werewolf flicks of the past, If you love Ginger snaps go see this one. You can so see the influence of wes craven in this movie.
