Birth, death, and lost love. This movie could have had those three elements but instead it focuses on Nicole's face. People are raving about the boy's performance. I don't see it. He was blah from moment no. 1 until the end. [...] I can see why Nicole made this movie as it was a deep role to play. The music was eerie and added to the mood of the otherwise uneventful movie. The final stab in my back was that this movie was only playing at Laval (forgot my passport) or the pocketbook draining AMC. My wife liked it and will be thinking about it for days but then again she liked the Hours.
