If you love Musicals, choregraphy and art direction were present. Cinema Italiano was the best performance, as well as Fergie's stunning show. Disagree with most comments for this film when comparing it to 8 1/2. Who the hell cares about a musical director and his flings? There was no story line. Agree Chicago had a more interesting plot and memorable songs. But to say it is a waste of time or money is unfair. It is a successful film as far as a musical is concerned; I would have gladly given a 10 if there was a story attached to it. Lewis is not the type of actor who would 'sing' after all his impressive movies. Cotillard's acting was great, Kidman barely made her presence. Loren was just a guest in this movie, no acting. It seemed to me that each scene was made to be ahead of the other without a true link to the story, if any.
