Well, I wouldn't rate this a 10 or a 1, the people who did are just being too extreme. People said this is the cutest romance ever, but actually, it's not that cute. And some people say it's too predictable, that's because we all know the story beauty and the beast. Overall, not a bad movie, but there's still rooms to improve. I mean, it's a movie about inner beauty, how could we see inner beauty when the actor is so freaking hot? Anyway, the movie is really off from the book, the book said kyle has 2 years, but instead, they made it 1 year. But still, this movie is worth seeing, but even more worth seeing it on the internet.

Went with my nephew and we actually liked the movie. Very meaningful and empowering.

I personally enjoyed this movie. I first watched it on a plane and I ended up watching it twice in a row on the flight :P I think the casting was PERFECT Mary-Kate Olsen couldnt be a better witch while Vanessa was the best girl next door charachter. Alex played his part well and so did Neil Patrick Harris I LOVED his charachter. The movie was short and sweet cute and romantic at the same time, I would recomnd this to any Beauty and the Beast fan :)

The story was interesting, lots of funny parts, romance movie and more modern version of Beauty and the beast. All in all I enjoyed this movie.

This might be good for some little 10 year old girls but if you're older than that you're just going to think it's cheezy. Sure it has a few (very few) funny parts but other than that it's pretty badly made. It was a pretty good idea of remaking the whole beauty and the beast concept but they wasted that idea and could have done a much better job. But again if you're a 10 year old girl, you'll love it...

I watched the trailers and thought this was going to be a good movie. Vastly disappointed. It was lame to say the least because people do not act like this ever in the real world. I get that it is a fictional movie but ever the interactions between characters were disbelieving. The only thing good about this movie is Neil Patrick Harris. Bad acting and a lame story line with so many plot holes that a sink hole would form... If you liked the weird stalker romance of Twilight then you will like this pile of crap.

I went to see this with my best friend because she wanted to see it. I didn't really want to see it because I didn't think it would be that good. I was somewhat right. The acting could've been better and Alex p.'s character didn't look ugly or scary at all. It was pretty cheesy sometimes but it was still pretty good. I loved Neil Patrick Harris was awesome (I'm a huge fan) To someone between the ages of 10-15 this movie seems amazing. It is worth seeing but not my favorite.

I was trying to get into the movie at the beginning, wasn't quite working out, I was close to falling asleep. Not a good movie to go watch if you're not a fan of romantic movies.

The movie doesn't have much of a story line. The script is written poorly. Neil Patrick Harris is generally funny in whatever role he plays. The only humor in the movie wasn't even funny. The movie was painful to watch through the first half and after that it became okay. Would not recommend anyone to watch this film. Rotten tomatoes gave this film only a single star.

This should definitely be a rental at best. Teens may find this romantic, but the truth is a lot creepier. Poorly acted for the most part, choppy scene changes, poor script. The movie was about seeing beyond physical beauty but the actors were all beautiful... even the young man who was disfigured... was still quite good looking! Oh Hollywood how you keep getting it so wrong. Bottom line... this movie has some potential, but came out before it was ready.

Reaaaly good movie! Could have been longer, and stuck a bit better to the book, but still pretty good! Also everybody keeps saying how alex p. is so hot! Well u know what? I say to those people, SHUT UP!!! The movie teaches us that the real beauty is on the inside, and that's absolutely, completely true!!! So that being so, haven't you learned anything? Are society, is so obsessed with what we look like, that they have blinded us, absolutely, completely, BLINDED US!!! It makes me want to puke! When did people start to think that thin, muscular, and clean, acne-free skin is "beautiful"? Maybe, somewhere, chubby, flubby, and pimple covered is "hot"? So get a reality check! You all are reaaallly messed up!!!

I love fairy tales and their adaptions, so I was obviously a little put out by this movie. They did an okay job. The acting was pretty bad (Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olsen) The humor is the only great part about it. I would have liked it if they had payed a bit more attention to the book (they spelt Sloane's name as Sloan... grrr) because I'm the type of person who gets angry if movie adaptions are EXACTLY like the book. But, I came to the theatre with low expectations, and left with a laugh (even my I-HATE-ROMANCES friend enjoyed it... but I think that was just because Alex Pettyfer is HOT and Vanessa Hudgens is awfully good to make fun of)
