Being advised by several people online, I did not waste an extra $3 to see this film in 3D. And when I watched the film, there wasn't many times that I thought the 3D would be able to uphold with the special effects. The film was decent enough for a matinee, but I found there was so much build up for the climax that it fell stale when it finished so quickly. The special effects and costumes were great (especially the witches, Medusa and the Kraken) but there were so many forgettable characters, aside from the main characters - Perceus, Illya, the Gods and Andromeda - that I found it confusing when they either died or talked on screen. Let alone, I couldn't remember half of the secondary character's names since they only mentioned themselves only once or twice throughout the film. The film also could have been a bit longer, there were scenes that were rushed or the characters weren't given enough screentime to really connect with their personalities/backstories.
