Not really anything to do with the Disney classic Sorcer's Apprentice, but has a couple of smart call backs to the animated classic. My 10 year old really enjoyed it. It was mind candy with good action seequences and CGI. Nicholas Cage is showing his age and is getting a little thin in the acting dept. I appreciated this show and it was fresh and original so go see it.
