This movie is a refreshing soin on the usual bang bang pow pow movies that are out there. The cast is suberb with Jean Reno as an old retired mob boss and Kad Merad as his creppy stuttering lawless ex partner in crime. It did make me wanna watch "Leon The Professionnal" again, also starring Jean Reno with Natalie Portman and Gary Oldman in his best portrayal of the crookedest cor ever. It's nice to see that french movies can rival american ones without any problems. I used to go and see lots of french movies back when Montreal's downtown cinemas were showing them alot, but now I rent them. Well this film was refreshing even though gory at times.

The Immortel talk about the Charly Mateî's life with her family. Before he was in a group and he was killing people. One day, in the underground parking , he been killed from twenty-two gun balls. But , he survive , of caurse. This movie is not for childrens beacause there is a lot of blood. So, it's more recommended for 13+. The principal actor is JEAN RENO, who play Charly. We can see KAD MERAD and JEAN-PIERRE DARROUSSIN , too. The producer is RICHARD BERRY and it's a french movie What I like from this actor is than he can play in a french or english movie. This movie is action and suspens beacause we never know when something will come. I cive a 7.5I10 or 75 on 100 beacause it's good but something is missing. I like this movie beacause I love this actor. I was really happy to go see this movie beacause it's not my style and I was wanted to see something else. This movie is not my favorite and it was a little bit long.

The first review is nonsense - I have been exposed to this world and this is a true to life poignant dramatisation of a parallle world of violent competition and survival... Would be rated higher but you would resist.
