This is a classic. Jean Reno and Natalie Portman are great in this movie, but really, it's the story and action scenes that make this movie a great film. To see and re-see!

Wonderfully acted by Oldman, Portman, and Besson. It has a little bit of everything, comedy, drama, thrill, and action. I can see this movie over and over again and fall in love with each and every one of the actors. For any age Portman's performance is oscar-worthy. Oldman's character was so sinister that you couldn't imagine him any other way. Besson is a definite star in the movie. The way he fought to not love this little girl and trying to keep his discipline was amazing. You could see the struggle. It's just plainly a good movie.

It's really one of the movies I appreciated most! You find yourself holding your breath all through the film and at any shift in the characters' circumstancies. You can't deny to be moved by the great relationship between Léon and Mathilda... it's also a way to think over the events of life...

I saw the film years ago at the recommendation of m brother in law. Normally not a good choice, but this was one of the best movies I've seen. Being a sentimental dude, however, I took a point off for the lead character not living. That stunk..

Without a doubt ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER!!! So classy, so smart, Jean Reno is such a great actor... This is by far One of the best since reservoir dogs!!! Its number 3 on my list right after godfather 1 and scarface!!!. this movie is a classic!!!

I thought this film was One of the most beautiful collections of images I've ever seen. I thought that the tones and colors were amazing. The story is full of action while it maintains such a heartfelt and touching quality. Both Reno and Portman grip you so firmly, pull you in, only to toss you back into reality by the films end. Besson built a masterpiece from top to bottom.

Wow... just plain wow. 2 days later, and I still can't help but wonder what might have happened if Leon had lived, or what happens next to Mathilda. Absolutly One of the greatest movies ever put before my eyes. It's a little bit scary how beautiful Ms. Portman is in this movie, even at her age. Her beauty does not sully the movie at all, it only enhances it. Watch This Movie.

First of all the music is by Eric Serra. Second of all the movie is by far One of the greatest I have seen. In the Hitman genre it's right up there with "The Day of the Jackal" and "Bestseller", The latter happens to be my favorite. Jean Reno is great, Danni Aiello is great. Nataly Portman is great. Gary Oldman is great. This is a classic.

My most favourite movie ever. And when everyone else around me changes their most favourite movie ever on a daily basis, mine hasn't changed since I first saw this movie. Gary Oldman makes the best drugged out psycho ever. This was the first movie in which I saw the creepy smooth camera pan, where everything is in focus. And the finale of this movie is second only to the finale of True Romance.
