Jane Eyre's characters are much warmer and more compassionate, compared to the strange moods and darkness in earlier versions including the novel. We enjoyed it! Subtitles for the little girl's french were a nice touch... What about screening movies with subtitles on Wednesdays every week for us seniors who can't hear well? (at the Paramount in Kamloops!)
